Well, it's been a relaxing and somehow exciting day. Jocelyn and Mark had a good old paddle around and had fun, and then Jocelyn and Rob went for a ride into Mandurah proper for bait and coffee.
Mark and I played 6 Nimmt!, which I won after a very sad game up to that point. We had a very nice lunch over at cafe Moka, which was delicious and had games, so we all had a game of connect 4, but Jocelyn had to go one better and go connect 5!
We scroffled around, played Alhambra with the three sensible expansions, and then went fishing, which we stayed at longer than we intended and hence missed out on Simmo's. And everyone caught a herring! This is the first time that I can remember catching a fish I could actually eat.
There was a young Nankeen Night Heron most interested in our undersized fish we were throwing back but we didn't give him any.
We came home and ate our fish, which was delicious....oh yes, and I threw the entire crab net in the water, including the helpful bit you're suppose to pull it up by, but Rob was able to retrieve it, phew!
We then played a titanic game of Railway Tycoon on the downloaded Europe map.
It was Jocelyn and I pretty much head to head, fighting all the step of the way at the end, and we tied on points, tied on connections, and in the end I won on money.
Now somehow it's nearly 2am, and we just saw a cool clip for Cloudbuster, a Kate Bush song on Rage. I'm the last one up, and I'm going to bed. Night.
Mark, Jocelyn, Rob & Leece, all playing Alhambra. The kitchen bench is taking the photo.
