Well, we are across the Peel Inlet. We took a serious shortcut across the banks, and between Creely and Boundary islands, reducing a 5nm journey down to 3.
We did run aground a couple of times, and had to walk the boats for a few hundred metres, but overall it was a good crossing, with us making a steady 4.5knots in a light southerly.
More later - we are now at the restaurant, waiting for checkin time, and enjoying some morning tea.
We have now ticked all the major points we wanted achieve in this trip! Everything else we do now is a bonus!
