After a night at Ravenswood Hotel marred only by a territory dispute between possums, we shared a pancake breakfast with M&S, and then loaded up. S was driving down to Tatham's caravan park on account of having some very heavy medical gear to transport, so we off-loaded a bunch of stuff onto him. The rest we loaded up, and when he returned (having been given a lift by the guys from Ravenswood Adventures, we set out.
Only a short day today after the big push of yesterday - about 7km. This included a look at the new Bunbury bridge - which looks very impressive from below! We paused at Pelicans for a coffee and to grab some bait, and then made our way to Tatham's. Pelican's have a new jetty designed for houseboats, which only went in about a month ago. After our coffees, we set out again, and about 10 minutes from our destination, the heavens opened up, and the rain drenched us through.
It then stopped a few minutes after we arrived, and it has been mostly fine ever since.
We are now sitting in our tent, having enjoyed a hot lunch, and are writing things up. Maybe some fishing later, and definitely some crabbing. Wish us luck!
Power is a bit of an issue here, so no photos today. Maybe tomorrow.
