OK, so I am on the early shift at work this week. This means I get home sometime after 3pm.
So today I'm giving Leece and her mum a hand in the garden. And we finish up, and congratulate ourselves on a job well done.
And I duck a mulberry branch to make my way out.
And have a damn fine try at scalping myself on the roof of the chook run.
Luckily, all three of us have had first first aid training, so it was a quick pressure pad and head bandage job, before being whisked off to our GP.
So I now have a 3cm slice out of my forehead, and stitches to hold it together. Naturally, I fly our for a 5 day course on the weekend, looking like I've been on the wrong end of a Cossack raid.
