Heh! You dont need to go to Norway to get that effect. Just have a go with our very own Transperth route planner at http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/DesktopDefault.aspx. Recently it has suggested that I:
- Walk nearly six kilometers to Leederville.
- Go to Applecross via Fremantle rather than Perth ( about 3 times the distance ).
- Go to East Perth Terminal by catching the 98 to Bayswater and taking the train back (must be 4 to 5 times the distance of the direct via Perth route).
Oh well. |

I've had some interesting advice from the Transperth route planner imp, one of which included walking from Como to Wellington Street.
Planning journeys in the UK was interesting - Mapquest, I think it was, gave me directions from a point in the north of England to a point in the middle of Scotland that would have taken 9 hours had I gone south first down to Manchester as they suggested. |
