It's certainly been a gamut of weather. Constant rolling thunder all yesterday with accompanying showers. And the day before that was cower in the airconditioning against the dreadful heat. Amazing.

As a result of all this, everything is damp and very humid. I am so grateful not to have to water! Thank you sky!

Friday night we did not have rpging as a couple of people were away and kremmen was visiting, so we played the Ticket to Ride Legendary Asia map and after that, Cargo Noir, both of which were heaps of fun.

Saturday we went to Hester Park, and, like loons (actually I think that loons are far more sensible) played disc golf in the midday heat. I was very tired by the time we'd finished, but I wasn't too displeased by my round, and my putting technique is being refined.

Then we visited Poss who fed us a wonderful cold chicken and plum sauce dish and we watched, among other things, Double Take's Hercules which Rob and I saw live back when it played at the Lumiere at the now gone Entertainment Centre. We saw their Astro Zombies and Killer Bees as well. What a hoot it was! Double Take dubs over the movie sound track you see...so you have these outrageous Aussie okker accents over an outrageous Italian sword and sandal movie.

Zeus FX Thunderbolt!

Hercules: Good shot!

Zeus: I was aiming for you.

"Geez, that Ribena's a bit off, innit?"

Anyway, we laughed and laughed.

Then Sunday we had some cleanup to do, and it was hot. We were going to visit Mikey at the hospice, but he was asleep and we didn't want to disturb him. And we were that shagged out we ended up just zoning out, playing Glitch.

And that was about it of significance...not much happening, just looking forward to the December WABA meeting really.
