Multi-cache Sea of Green placed: S 31° 52.809 E 115° 45.541 UTM: 50J E 382626 N 6472177 Waypoint: GCR54E Official Link Difficulty: 2.5/2.5
A longish stroll up hill and down dale in one of the coast's little bits of history.
This is a three point multi-cache. The first two are micro-caches, and the last a smallish cache.
We recommend parking near S31.52.688 E115.45.856, where you can park on the north-bound verge. There is also street parking on the opposite side, but that is not available at all times - check the signs carefully!
This site contains one of the last traces of the initial settlement of the area - look out for the fig trees! There are also extensive wildflowers (in season), and one of the last extensive stands of quondongs in the area. Please remember that taking the fruit (or any other portion of the plants) is illegal! (Tempting though they are!)
The first two caches are small nalgene cylinders with logsheets within. The subsequent co-ordinates are visible from the outside, so there is no need to open them, unless you want to sign the logs for them.
The final cache is a 1 litre round honey-pot. Watch out for snakes, and there is no need to bush-bash for any of the three stages.
Hint for starting cache Oruvaq jngregnax ntnvafg gur oevpxf, uvqqra va gur tenff. After this, you're on your own!
