As it happened the weather doesn't like kayakers at all, so we went out and found several geocaches instead. Ros came along and proved to be invaluable at spotting a particularly difficult small cache that had been wrapped in camoflague pattern - Glendalough Open Space. I don't think we would have found it without her.
A pleasant day and most enjoyable. Pity I've still got this ber-loody headache, but then, you can't have everything.
We found "Bond with the worms" and found a rather unusual petrel like bird in the inland park there, very unusual. Perhaps the winds we've been having lately blew it there and if died of exhaustion. Then we found Turtle's Playground, Then Glendalough Open Space, and then failed to find Herdsman Lake, the cache that is, not the geographical feature.
