Another game Tim brought back from Sydney is Cthulhu 500.
It is (despite the title) a racing car Card game, which basically has a Cthulhu theme in the artwork and in some of the descriptions of the actions you can take.
The mechanism is for each of you to have a race car card lined up in the middle of the table, with all the mods on that vehicle displayed in front of you. As play progresses around the table each side rolls dice and plays cards to decide on their ability to overtake the car in front. Each time you lap the field you gain a marker, until the person who first achieves the set victory number of markers (or the person with the most when you abandon the game) wins.
A mildly entertaining filler card game that goes to 8. I rate it a 6.5 out of 10, with fans of the Cthulhu mythos no doubt rating it higher.

Well I'm mildly concerned anyway...

And here is a blurry photo of the game when we decided to abandon it... Mark with 7 laps, Bronwyn with 2 and Tim dead last on 0 :P Which just goes to prove the adage, you can't teach and game and win it too!
