Have you finished watching RahXephon, or just given up on it?
If the former, what did you think?
[Grumpy] Rained all weekend here in Canberra so I didn't get to go riding. Yes I know we needed the rain. Yes I'm glad we got it. But why on the weekend? Why not during the week when I can't go riding for fun anyway? [/Grumpy] |

Well, I wouldn't care if I never saw another episode of it again, Rob thoroughly enjoys it, and Poss's reaction is generally "Must we?"
It's certainly been in abeyance. |

This is not to imply that it's bad or anything, it's quite good, but why these good shows up the angst and the incomprhensibility so much that it starts to detract from the narrative I'll never know.
To cool for me. |

Personally, I think that the whole "angst as conflict" driven plot concept is a fairly shallow pool to work from.
RX does appear to be from one of the deeper parts of the pond, but it's still pretty thin fare. That said, I would like to see how it turns out, but it is more from a morbid curiosity than a strong liking of the show.

Thats fair enough, I can see how not everyone would like it.
RX is certainly better than most in this line, and it ends very well IMO.
Strangely but well.
But you probably guessed that the strangeness was coming... |
