Well I'm mildly concerned anyway...

Wallace and Gromit - The Curse of the Were Rabbit is a must see movie for anybody who has ever enjoyed a Wallace and Gromit episode or an Aardman production.

The production qualities are wonderful, with the occasional thumbprint only adding to the charm. The computer special effects are kept quite limited and thus tasteful, adding to the movie rather than dominating it as they can.
The story itself is charming, and the pace leisurely, but with a smashingly exciting end.

The script manages to achieve two levels of meaning, so that children can enjoy it as a movie with lots of cute rabbits and exciting goings-on, but adults can enjoy the puns and double-entendre. I imagine that the PG rating was given because of them (Or the bad puns; Slightly older children may be traumatised by some of the more painful ones).

The title does give away a big chunk of the plot, but the story doesn't suffer too badly. Avoid reading certain reviews that spoil the plot surprises (not mentioning any Murdoch papers here by name).

I rate this a 9.8 out of 10. It loses .2 only because of the title.

Cheers

I'm smiling. That alone should scare you.

I saw this yesterday and enjoyed it a lot, but not perhaps as much as Mark.

The plotline was just a wee bit too telegraphed for me so I'll rate this as 8/10.

And the thumbprints do add to the charm. One in particular added some interesting lines to Gromit's face for considerable chunks of time...

If you cannot see the causal relationship between "I have chocolate" and "Life is Good", you simply aren't trying hard enough.

Another movie I've yet to see!  Three back-to-back theatre productions doesn't leave you much time to see other forms of media.

So that's Wallace and Grommit, Howl's Moving Castle and a couple of others I've got to catch before they go bye-byes.

Least I saw Charlie and Serenity!

Finally got to see the Were-Rabbit.  Loved it!  Went with a friend who grew up in a time similar to that portrayed so there was lots of laughter of recognition from him.

Lots of laugh out loud moments for - I'm a sucker for a sight gag and "Angy mob supplies" really tickled me.
